He owned and _ operatec Howard’s Barber Shop located ir Ida and later in Monroe for more than 30 years. He retired in 1978. He was a member of Zior Lutheran Church, Frenchtowr Senior Citizens and Barbers Locai 613. He was a graduate of Car- leton High School, Carleton, anc of the Toledo Barber College. Toledo. He was an avid fisherman Surviving are his wife and < brother, Roy E. of Newport. He was preceded in death by ar infant son, Ronald; three broth- ers, Warren, George and Earl, anc a sister, Alice.
