Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Roch Catholic Church. The Rev. Frederick Misiolek, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township. Born Jan. 18, 1921, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Carl and Leona M. (Hyatt) Valko. She mar- ried Alfred Kornowski June 12, 1948, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carleton. A credit manager, she worked at Oakwood Hospital Seaway Center, Trenton, retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary to Disabled American Veterans.
