TRENTON - Services have been
set for Charles Warreri Kortze, 71,
of Trenton, formerly of Flat Rock,
who was killed when his vehicle
crashed at a gas station Saturday
afternoon in Flat Rock. He was
pronounced dead at Oakwood
Hospital Seaway Center.

Friends may call until 9 tonight
at Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home,
Flat Rock. Services will be held at
9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home and at 10 at St. Roch Catholic
Church. The Rev. Frederick
Misiolek, pastor of the church, will
officiate. Burial will be in
Michigan Memorial Park, Huron

Township.

‘ Born March 30, 1928, in Detroit,
he was the son of Charles and Ella
(Weber) Kortze. He married
Bernice Cartmill Sept. 30, 1949, at

. St. Ann Church, Detroit. She died
April 9, 1992.

A welder for Great Lakes Steel, he
retired in 1982. He enjoyed bike rid-
ing and walking. For 31 years, he
lived in Flat Rock.

Surviving are three sons, Robert
of Commerce Township, Frank of
Trenton and Danny of Lincoln
Park; a daughter, Sherry Garcia of
Detroit; three grandchildren, and
three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was
preceded in death by a brother,
Frank, and three sisters, Dolores,
Helen and Ella Wilma.
