Lar, 22h. 21, (997 David J. Krause LIVONIA — David J. Krause, 95, of Livonia, formerly of Waltz, died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday at Botsford Hospital. He had been ill a short time. Friends may call until 9 tonight at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Carl Vertz of Peace Lutheran Church, Livonia, will officiate. Burial will be in Michi- gan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born June 20, 1901, in Wyan- dotte, he was the son of Rudolph and Pauline (Taepke) Krause. He was married in October, 1924, to Emma Rinne at St. John’s Luther- an Church in Waltz. She died May 23, 1964. A resident of Waltz for 60 years, he had been employed as a mill- wright by the Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn for 42 years, retiring in 1965. He also had farmed in Waltz. He was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waltz - and the Waltz Improvement Asso- ciation. Surviving are a son, Wesley of Livonia; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Rena) Habitz of Dearborn; a brother, Noah of Garden City; two sisters, Edna Stucker and Zelma Jeffers, both.of Garden City, six grandchildren, nine great-grand- ote and a great-great-grand- child. He also was preceded in death by a grandson, Wesley Krause Jr.; three brothers, Dan, Walter and Norman; and two sisters, Esther Beutner and Lena Krause. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wes Krause Jr. Foundation for Families in Crisis.
