William F. Scheel Dec. 7, 1919-Oct. 23, 2003 FLAT ROCK — Service: have been set for Willian Frederick Paul Scheel, 83, 0 Flat Rock, who died Thursday at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital Commerce. Friends may call from 1 to ‘ p.m. Sunday at Arthw Bobcean Funeral Home Services will be at 10 a.m Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Beth A. Librande of Willow United Methodis Church, New Boston, officiat ing. Burial will be in Michigar Memorial Park, Huror Township, under the auspice: of Carleton Post 4093, Veteran: of Foreign Wars. Born Dec. 7, 1919, in Detroit he was the son of Otto anc Anna (Arnolde) Scheel. He married Ruth Brautley on Nov 17, 1945, in Knoxville, Tenn. He was co-owner of Scheels Concrete in Flat Rock. He retired in 1974. He served as an Army staf: sergeant in World War II. He was a member of Flat Rock Lodge 1731, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks: Flat Rock Kiwanis, where he was past president; Carleton Post 4093, VFW and South Rockwood United Methodisi Church. Surviving are his wife, Ruth of Flat Rock; three daughters. Anna Lynn (Daniel) LaVigne of Linden, Janet (Allen) Baker of Londonderry, N.H., and Susan (Henry) Wirta of Corte Madera, Calif.; a brother, Robert of Flat Rock; a sister, Ruth (Dick) Boccabella of Florida, and eight grandchil- dren.
