LIVONIA - Louis P Krause,
89, of Livonia, formerly of New
Boston and Riverview, died
Thursday at St. Mary Hospital.

Friends may call from 4 to 8
p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8
Dm. Sunday at Arthur
Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat
Rock. He will lie in state from
10 until services at 11 a.m.
Monday at St. Paul Lutheran
Church, New Boston. The Rev,
D. Lee Cullen Jr, pastor of the
church, will officiate. Burial -
will be in Michigan Memorial
Park, Huron Township.

Born Dec. 9, 1912, in
Carleton, he was the son of
Louis and Katherine (Gauss)
Krause Jr. He married Hilda
Ann Gumtow June 22, 1935, at |
St. Paul Lutheran Church. She
died Dec. 17, 1999.

A laborer, he worked for
Borden’s Creamery for 43
years, retiring in 1975.

He was a member of St. Paul
Lutheran Church. He grewup |
in New Boston and had recent-

. ly moved from Riverview to |
Livonia.

Surviving are a son, Jerald
(Valerie) of Livonia; a daughter-
in-law, Elizabeth Sanborn of
Florida; three grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he |
was preceded in death by a son,
James; two brothers, anda sis-
ter.
