Thelma V. Weich Now. 23, 1921-Oct. 14, 2003 FLAT ROCK - Services have been set for Thelma V. Welch, 81, of Flat Rock, who died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday in her home. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, Huron Township, where ser- vices will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Dr. Damon Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township. Born Nov. 23, 1921, in Middlesboro, Ky,, she was the daughter of Gay and Iva Mae Smith. She married James Earl Welch. Surviving are two sons, David (Linda) of Tennessee and Charles of Washington; four daughters, Patricia (Allen) Enger of Dearborn Heights, Charlene (John) Grzegorczyk and Peggy (Roy) Cupp, both of Tennessee, and Earlene ‘ (Walter) Stanwick of Florida; a brother, Jack R. (Jean) of Kentucky; three sisters, Billie (Ed) Laws of Monroe and Betty (George) Carter and Isabelle (Bill) Dean, both of Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren, and a great- great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Larry and James E. Jr, and two brothers.
