be in St. Charles Cemetery, New-
port.

Born July 29, 1905, in Detroit,
she was the daughter of Louis and
Margaret (Tillman) Schmit. She
first married Harold J. Laboe on
June 17, 1926, in All Saints
Church in Detroit. He preceded
her in death on Nov. 24, 1936. She
then married Leander Labo on
Aug. 20, 1969, in St. Charles
Catholic Church. He preceded her
in death on Feb, 9, 1982.

She had been employed as a
sales clerk for F.J. Yaeger and Son
from 1950 to 1969.

Educated at All Saints School
in Detroit, she was a member of
St. Charles Catholic Church and
its Ladies Society. She was very
active in senior citizens groups in
Berlin, Ash and Frenchtown
Township, where she played the
piano for sing-alongs.

She is survived by a son, Robert
L. Laboe of Monroe; five daugh-
