Michigan Potato Research Reports

The Potato Outreach Program is a collaboration between Michigan State University and the Michigan Potato Industry Commission (MPIC). Originally known as the Montcalm Research Center, the program was established by MSU Extension in 1966 to conduct research on potatoes in a region well known for the crop. In 1976, the Michigan Potato Industry Commission was established and soon after the two organizations partnered to support and promote the Michigan potato industry. The first annual report of the Center's research was published in 1969 and continues to today. The annual reports provide information on the varieties grown, how they responded under different growing conditions, and describes other treatments and findings. Volumes 1-33 (1969-2001) were digitized by MSU Libraries Digital Imaging Services and volumes 34-current were contributed by the Potato Outreach Program.
