Terror. There was a general discussion of present and future problems of golf course maintenance. Among the subjects discussed were the manpower shortage, the gasoline situation, the post-war possibilities of the new insecticide D D T and the uncertain conditions in the inorganic mercury market which suggested the advisability of obtaining the season's supply as soon as possible.
