"Eat Less." Co-operate with our government in helping the starving people of Europe.
The October meeting was held at the Brae Burn Country Club, West Newton, Mass.,
and the annual John Shanahan Memorial tournament was played. Twenty eight teams competed. Anderson and Sheppard, home club Greenkeeper and Pro defeated Homer Darling and
Neptune, last year winners, in the play off.

The outdoor meetings are drawing to a close. Any ideas or suggestions, regarding programs for the winter meetings, are welcome and may be expressed at the next Greenkeepers
meeting.
The 19th G.S.A. annual National Turf Conference and Show will be held at the BookCadillac Hotel, Detroit, Michigan, February 9 to 13, 1948. More information will be announced as received.
The next meeting will be at the Wellesley Country Club, Wellesley, Mass., October 27,
1947. Luncheon will be served 11:30 A.M. followed by a golf tournament.
