A considerable number of members and Chairmen were in attendance. A demonstration of the Aerifler and CO2 low gallonage stainless steel sprayer was held through the courtesy of the Clapper Co. It was well received. The attendance prize, comprised of a tractor umbrella donated by the Clapper Co., created interest. You were asked to guess the approximate number of beans enclosed in a glass jar. The winner, George Volhmer, of Minot, Mass., came the closest to guessing the correct amount. The j a r actually contained 2970 beans. A fine luncheon was served and enjoyed by those present. Following luncheon, a short business meeting was held, President Philip Cassidy presiding. A card from Mr. and Mrs. William MacBride was read, thanking all for the gift which they received on their 25th wedding anniversary. A letter was also read from Jack Counsell, stating that he is well on the road to recovery and is expecting to attend the next meeting. Glad to. hear that Jack. Luncheon at 12 noon, a short business meeting followed by the club championship golf tournament. The Wollaston Golf Club is on Route 37 in North Quincy, Mass.
