Host Greenkeeper was Arthur Cody. Through the courtesy of the Clapper Co., a Friend Power Sprayer was demonstrated by Joseph C. Fiorelli, the factory sales representative. This 200 gallon sprayer will be a necessity on the golf course, due to the fact that a greater control is needed to combat the large number of insects that are injurious to fine turf, namely the Japanese Beetle, which has already been reported in the Attleboro and Franklin area.
