These words of James Whitcomb Riley express the editor's sentiments and maybe yours, regarding the beautiful fall we are enjoying. Every year the New England Autumn seems to improve. Certainly this one is tops. A better fall day could not be found for the Shanahan Greenkeeper-Pro tournament, Monday, October 1, at Brae Burn. George Rommell says, "From Boston, or vicinity, follow Route 128 to 18 to 28 to 6 at Buzzards Bay. Follow 6 to the Mid-Cape Highway until you come to a sign saying Marstons Mills and Osterville 5 miles. (God Help you if you miss this sign) Route 149.
