Although the Newsletter did not reach the membership on the scheduled date, there was a large turnout of Supts. and dealers. (The firm that prints the Newsletter had a labor problem which caused the late mailing). * * * sfc • • John Alamonti, Asst. Supt. Worcester C. C. was presented a shield for winning the John Shanaihan award at Bra Burn C. C. in Oct. 1962. Bob Grant, Educational Chairman reported the purchase of a Sawyer Slide Projector and Screen for future use of the educational committee. John Realty Supt. The Country Club requested some help in the advent of serious storms before or during the Open Tournament in June. Bob Copeland WBZ Meteorologist presented an excellent educational program, illustrated with colored slides. He covered the four seasons, showing various cloud formations, lightening in thunderstorms hurricanes, floods, etc. Ellsworth Cushing, Insurance Consultant, Continental Casualty Ins.
