When several new buildings were recently constructed, a na tive wildflower mix was seeded around the buildings to create an attractive, low maintenance meadow. One hundred acres of rough that were once mowed frequently has now been turned back into grassland. Grassland areas are now mowed once a year, creating food and cover sources for a variety of wildlife. In addition, mowing practices were changed around ponds and streams to allow for emergent plant growth that attracts aquatic wildlife.
