* —' President’s Message Our annual meeting at Boyne Highlands Resort proved to be a great success. Joe Breighner and his staff are outstanding as are the facilities. These people are a great credit to our association and profession. Meeting dates are still available for next year if anyone is interested; these meetings give us an opportunity to showcase our courses and provide educational information. Congratulations to newly elected board members Brian Holmes, Dan Bissonette, Eric Denoyer, and Paul Holmes. They are a welcome addition to the board of directors. The new board will be diligently working on meeting the GCSAA affiliation requirements which need to be completed by July of ‘97. Education will continue to be the main goal of the NMTMA, and member participation will keep this association progressive. The next board meeting will provide the NMTMA with a new president and executive committee. This is my last year on the board and as president and I want to thank all of the past board of directors who have given me support. They have kept me and this association headed in the right direction. A special thanks to Pat Mertz and Kim Olsen, who went off the board this year. Their efforts to make this association run smooth and to increase member services has been relentless. It’s great to work with people who are professional, hard working, and really care about the future of this association. Mark R.
