T he the subject of his lecture will be Panama Canal, a project of great moment and interest to all, and will be splendidly illustrated with lan tern slides and moving pictures the canal showing the scenery of zone and the methods and progress of the digging of the great ditch. Lorado Taft, in addition to being one of the foremost of American sculptors, has the happy faculty of taking and holding an audience as he tells about his work. He brings to the lecture platform the complete paraphernalia of the scluptor's stu dio and in the presence of the audi ence shows how plastic clay is into artistic and beautiful shaped in the forms and made permanent plaster cast.
