The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. On motion of Mr. Beaumont, the request of Dean Bissell for authority to attend the meeting of Deans of Engineering in Land Grand Colleges, to "be held at Washington on the 24-th and,25th, with expenses paid, was granted, and also the expenses of Dr. Giltner in attending the annual meeting of American Bacteriolo- gists, were allowed. The President presented a report of the faculty, recommending the abolishment 6f the five-year courses which was, on motion of Mr.-Waterbury, approved. On motion of Mr. Beaumont, the request of Miss Frances G. Spencer for remission of the fees for Athletics and Liberal Arts, was granted. On motion of Mr. Dohsrty, the matter of trespass upon the H". Yvrells -Kail, was granted under the same conditions and restrictions that now apply to the other literary societies in that nail. The request of the Phylean Society for change of room was received and placed on file. McDaniel be changed from Assistant Professor of Surgery to Assistant Professor of Veterinary Science and Pharmacology. Second, That the degree in. veterinary medicine to tie awarded to successful candidates, shall be known as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or D. V. M.
