The rninutes of trie previous meeting, Having been in the hand3 of the members of trie Board,, were approved without reading. On motion of Mr. Doherty, tne recommendation of Prox\ Anderson that a fee of #1.00 be charged for course 1 in Dairy Husbandry and that a like fee "be charged to the short-course students who take farm dairying and creamery butter making, was approved. On motion of Mr. Wallace, the request of Dean Shaw for permission to visit two experiment stations, probably that at Wooster, Ohio, and that of. Illinois or Iowa, was approved. . • On motion of Mr. Woodman, authority was given to employ Mr. 0. H. Burgess as head of the Poultry Department at a salary of #1^.00.00 per annum. The: President presented the resignation of Mi33 Agnes Hunt as Professor of Domestic Science, and also that of Mr. Wright as assistant in Bacteriology, both of which on motion of Mr. Oraham, were accepted. On motion of iar. Doherty, the recommendation of Miss White that the position resigned by Miss Hunt be offered to Miss Mary.E. Edmonds of the University of Montana, at a salary of #1500.00 and room with permission to make the salary #l6QQi$)and room if necessary to secure her services, was approved. On motion of Mr. G-raham, the fees for Athletics and Liberal Arts .in the case of Mrs. Darlington and Mrs. Eastman, are to be refunded. Dairy Pee of # 1 . 00 ••• fixed.
