RESOLVED, That this Board, representing the agricultural interests and needs of Michigan, and knowing the losses that are already in evidence through shortage of experienced farm labor, and the disaster to agriculture that will follow the taking of men from the farms to supply the armies, protests against such a policy, and demands, in the il-nterest of the countries allied with ours and in the interest of the cause for which we are all fighting, that no n^w act- ively engaged in farm labor, either as master or servant, be taken from his occu- pation to fill the ranks of the army."
