"In furtherance of conversation had with you some days ago regarding the proposittn of extending your water main to that portion, of your grounds that is now being used by our organization as a camp si-te-, wish to. submit the follow ing proposal: "Desiring a 2" water main on our camp site,^ "We will furnish, excavate for, and lay all the necessary piping to put in a main to extend from hydrant at the west end of your hew, gymnasium-building to our camp site, by most direct route. Said main to be of 2" galvanized pipe,, laid: below frost line, and to be put in under supervision of your Superintendent.. / "We will maintain-this pipe line while in use by our organization. "There will be.no time at. which we. will have to exceed. 225 men in^camp. here, and. the greater, port! on of the time.this number will be greatly diminished, but estimating on the maximum.number being present, and on the. basis of ^0 gals., of water per day, per man, which should be a safe estimate, the greatest number of gallons we:should require at any time would not be to exceed 9000 gals, per day. On motion of M r. waterbury, the traveling expenses of D r. Mumford while attending a conference of County Agent Leaders at Chicago, November 19 - 20 were approved. On motion of M r. Graham, the expenses of M r. J. Y/ade Weston in attend ing the potato show at Madison, Wisconsin, were allowed. On motion of M r* Graham, the Secretary was authorized to pay the sal ary of Miss Morris on the Extension Smith-Lever pay-roll for the months of September and October, at one thousand dollars per annum, after which her salary w i ll be taken over and paid out of the Federal Emergency fund.
