President Butterfield presented a communication from Professor Gardner regarding an offered Fellowship. It was voted that the Industrial Hesearch Fellowship, offered by the Kalamazoo Vegetable Parchment Company, for the study of the use of certain waxed parchment and other papers in the shipment and storage of fresh vegetables, flowers, nursery stock, and other perish able horticultural products, be accepted. It was voted that Professor Gardner be authorized to secure a man for this position to begin work July 15th, 1926 at a salary of approximately #1,000.00. 5.
