Mr. Pearson shows no inclination to take the matter into court* feeling perfectly will ing to put the entire matter up to the State Board of Agriculture and abide by their decision* He feels that the accident which he had was an impending cause of and an aggrevation to the case which resulted in the loss of his leg about six inches below the hip. Inasmuch as the matter was referred to me, I would recommend to the Board that a settle ment be made with Mr. Pearson on the basis of #1000.00 in cash, without assuming any re sponsibility in the case whatever.
