Stockman The minutes ox the previous meeting were approved without reading, having oeen in the hands of the Board members. APPOINTMENTS ApDoxntmenxs 1. Appointment of Casper Blumer, as County Agricultural Agent of Alcona County, Salary $2400 per year, effective January 1st, 1923. A 2..: Appointment of H. H. Wedgeworth, Research Associate in Plant Pathology, to succeed D r. C. W. Bennett, resigned. Salary ¢3100.00 per year, effective December 1st. Oner-fourth time College -andthree-fourths time Sxoeriment Station. 5. Appointment of Salter Toenjes, as Research Assistant in the Department of -Horticulture' at $2200 per year, effective December 1st. (New Purnell Project.) 4. Appointment of Miss Merle Moore, as Research Assistant in the Department of Home Economics, at a salary of §1.630 per year, effective November 15th. (Nex Purnell.-Project*) 5. Appointment of Miss Margaret MacDonald on Nursing Staff, Health Service, effective November 5th, 1 9 2 8, succeeding Miss Margaret Sheldon, resigned. 6. Appointment of Miss Annabelle M c R a e, as Graduate Assistant in Home Economics, §300 per year. Appointment provided for in budget at beginning of year. 7. Appointment of M r s. Mildred Buxton to replace ^iss Helen Hartman on sick leave to the end of the present semester - M r s. Buxton to receive 8180 per month from the amount apportioned for Miss hartman, T/ho will receive the balance of the salary while on leave. 8. Appointment of additional instructor in Music at the sum of ii>600. On motion of Mr. McColl, it was voted to approve the above appointments. TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION ..1. Authorisation for Alfred Hannah for railroad fare from Extension funds, on account of attendance at National Poultry Council at Chicago, on October 25, £6 and 27th. Travel Authorisation 2. Authorisation for H. C. Rather and C, R. Megee with expenses paid, to attend conference' with National Milling Company, Toledo, Ohio, on December l£th, to arrange for acceptance of scholarship being offered by them. 5. Authorisation for A. R. Marston, with expenses paid, to present paper on Cornborer problems at Canadian Entomological Society at Guelph on November 15th and loth. 4- Authorisation for L. r. Authorisation for XL. J. Baldwin .with expenses paid to attend the Farm Bureau Federation meeting In Chicago, December 7th to 12th. - 7. ; Authorisation for expenses of Messrs. Hays and Glrrbach, while1at the winter Royal '.-': Livestock Exhibition at Toronto, Canada, November 21st to 25rd, with group 'of Michigan Dairyman, no request for mileage. 8. Request that the Advisory Committee be given power to act on all requests for (^Legation on account of the international and other meetings at Chicago occuring at the same time. 9. Authorisation for M r. Robert Linton to attend the meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Agricultural teaching atAashington D# C. November 19th, with expenses from Smith-Hughes funds. On motion of M r. McPherson, it was voted to approve all of the above travel delegations. 10.
