Mr. Watkins presented the matter of a basketball floor being placed in the Demonstration Hall, President Shaw Invited Colonel Davis to be present to explain whether or not the schedule could be arranged, so far as the Military Department was concerned, without cutting out any military classes. The Colonel explained that It could be arranged without very much loss to the Military Department. | Basketball I Floor On motion of Mr. Watkins, it was voted that since the college is collecting athletic fees from students who are unable to witness all basketball games because of insufficient space for seating in the gymnasium, the State Board of Agriculture try out temporarily a removable basketball floor In the Demonstration Hall during the first half of the winter term. la so doing, It is assumed that the schedule may be so adjusted that no credit work in Military Science as now offered will be eliminated. On motion of Mr. Watkins, it was voted that the Secretary be authorised to proceed with contracts for erecting a basketball floor in Demonstration Hall in conjunction with the desires of the Ath letic Committee. 2.
