APPOIlJtTHEM?S 1. Mr. E.G. Prophet, Department of Geography, salaiy $^500 per year, effective September 1st.* 2. Mr* Donald OrHara, part-time instructor in Summer Session at a,salary of §225 for the six weeks session, providing his services are needed* Appointment s 3; M$ss Caroline Cooley, from half-time clerk in the Economics Section, to full time during the months of July, August and September, at $100 per month, the extra half-time pay to be paid from the regular Purnell Station allotment to the Economics Sectioh. - 4. Mr. J.WV Sheedy, Mathematics Department is offered work with the Building and Grounds Departmehtfrom July 1, to September 20th at an hourly wage ??hich will average |E5.00" per week.} j Authorization for compensation in the amount of $300.00 for this work is requested. 5. On motion of Mr. McColl, it was voted to approve the above appointments. RESIGNATIONS 1. Mr. C.E* Skiver, County Agricultural Agent for Menominee County effective June 15. 2. Mr. Paul Kochan, Instructor in Public Speaking, effective September 1, 1930. On motion of Mr. Brody» it was voted to accept the above resignations* TRAVEL 1. Dr. H.F. Stafseth, sixty-seventh Annual Convention, American Veterinary Medical Association, Los Angeles, California, August 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 1930 with transportation paid. Dr. Stafseth will deliver a paper at this meeting. 2. Dean E.H. f^der, leave from campus for a period of four to six weeks during the coming vacation period, for health reasons. j Resignati) ns \ Travel 3. R.E. Loree, several day trip through the small fruit growing districts of New Jersey and the Federal Department of Agriculture small fruit testing grounds at Bell, Maryland, with the equivalent of railroad and pullman fare paid from the regular college allotment to the Department of Horticulture. 4. E.J. Miller, Colloid ^Tuposium at Ithaca, Hew York, June 19 to .21st, with railroad and pullman fare paid from the regular Experiment Station allotment to the Agricultural Chemistry Section. 5. Dr. G.A. Scholl, trip to the Cherry Growing section of Door County, Wisconsin, sometime before the end of this month, to obtain data regarding the cherry industry, with expenses paid from the regular Experiment Station allotment to the Economics section. 6. Dr. E.T* Hallman, six weeks leave, August 1st to September 13th, in order to take trip in car with family, to attend'the American Veterinary Medical Association meeting at Los Angeles, California, which is held August 26 to 29th. Dr.Iallman will make the report for the Abortion Committee. 7. H> A. Cardinell, tour accompanying extension specialists through Indiana and Kentucky, using an Extension Department* car, with gas, oil and other items, and hotel expenses to be paid from Extension travel funds. The trip will be taken June I6th and 17th. Oh" motion of Mr. Brody, it was voted to approve the above travel requests and the requests for leaves of absence. MISCELLANEOUS 1. Approval of salary schedule. On motion of Mr. McColl, it was voted to approve the schedule of salaries for the next year as outlined by the President and as placed in the hands of the Comptroller. 2. Maintenance Budget. Mr. McPherson, Chairman of the Finance Committee, reported on the recommendations of the Committee. Schedule japproved. I Approval of IMain. Kellogg, for the college, amounting to #60,000.00; trust fund from W'K Kellogg* §30,000 each for the Bird Sanctuary and the Agricultural Farm. The trust consists of bonds yielding 7 per cent, which will.be paid quarterly* l On motion of Mr* MeColl, it was voted to accept the above mentioned trust fund from Mr* Kellogg. I 6.:.
