Resignation of W. T. Oglesby, Instructor in Physiology and Pharmacology effective August 31, 1954. On motion of Mr. Brody, seconded by Mr. Daane, it was- voted to accept the above resignation. 2. The following resignation was received from Herman H.:.Halladay, Secretary of the State Board ox Agriculture, effective January 1, 1955: July 5, 1954 "State Board of Agriculture East Lansing, Michigan Gentlemen: I hereby tender my resignation as Secretary of the State Board of Agriculture, to take effect January 1, 1955. Request of A. H. Nelson, Supervisor of Publications that mileage expense on one automobile to St. Paul, Minnesota, and return be granted so that two members of the department may attend the Agricultural College Editors Association meeting July 24th to 27th. 2. Request of Dean Giltner for mileage expense on one automobile to New York City and return, so that five members of the Veterinary Division staff may attend meetings of the International Veterinary Congress August 15th to 18th. S. Recommendation of Dean Giltner that W. L. Malimaim, Associate Professor of Bacteriology, be allowed railway transportation at tourist rates to Pasadena, California and return (approximately $95.00) to attend the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association September 3rd to 6th. On motion of Mr. Berkey, seconded by Mr. Halstead, it yras voted to approve the first two travel requests and to refer the third one to the President with power to act. M* Thrun's time to the Michigan State Tax Commission for an indefinite period, the College to pay two-thirds of his present rate of salary ($3080) or $2055 per year* 6.
