Report of Pre sident on Inter- Collegiate Conference of Faculty Request from Sec* of Board of Sduc. of Kellogg School for add. acreage not axroroved* The meeting adjourned at 3*30 p.m. Secretary The Board convened in executive session after adjournment of the regular meeting and. by unanimous action voted the following to amend the Minutes' of the Meeting of the State Board of Agriculture October IB, 1951? changing item six page 301^ of the permanent records to read as follows0* "In view of the inflationary trend of recent years and the probability that such trend will con- tinue in the future, it appears to this Board that the provisions heretofore made for retirement income to John A, Hannah, Earl H; McDonel and Philip Je May will be entirely inadequate to allow them to niaintain.a reasonable standard of living to which their outstanding contributions deservedly entitle them; t!It is hereby resolved that in the opinion of this Board said John A.- Hannah* .Earl E.;McDonel and Philip J/ Mayr after .their retirement in accordance with: age or disability clauses in our regular retirement program, should during the remainder of their lives be entitled to payment at the rate of one-half of the annual salary which they may individually be receiving at the time of such retirement or disability. "It. is further resolved that this 3oard should review the situation at least once every two years* and attempt to determine by the use of recognized tables and statistics whether the cost of living has increased or decreased to such an extent as to render advisable a modification of the terms of the preceding paragraph hereof; it being the intent of this resolution to establish a policy whereby said John A. Hannah, Karl R9 McDonel and Philip J.
