Waterbury, .the recommendation of Professor Sha^ Short Courses. in regard to the series of short courses was referred to the joint cornmit- tee on Institutes and Farm Management* Appointment 1 and 0*K.* White. On motion of Mr. Ha-rston, Mr. A.R.Potts Tfas appointed Field Agent in connect ion^with the extensionwork in farm crops and soils at a salary of §780.00 per ann-Q]-! beginning April 1st, 1909., and Hr. .O.K.White was ap- pointed Horticultural Field Agent at a salary, of f 1200.00 per annum for the Letter from I Mr.Pyeatt" of P.M.R.R. period beginning April 1st, 1909, to March'31st, 1910. President ' Snyder presented a letter from Mr. J.S.P3^eatt, of the Pere Marquette Railroad Compare, in reference to cutting trees now gxow- ing on the right of• T7ay of the Pere Marquette Railroad to the College, and the letter was on motion referred to ivir. \ I •i I I The Sec ret a^ presented the matter of the increase of the salary of Mr. Gibbons, the College plumber, which ^as on motion of Mr. Doherty re- ferred to the Cofemittee-on Employees. Cn motion^of President Snyder, an apportionment of §1144.73 was made for college extension work up to July 1st, 1909. .On motion of President Snyder, the expense bills of the members Apportion- ment for college ex- tension work and Secretary were allowed.
