Recommendation from Stanley Johnston, Professor Tukey and Dean Cowden that the University purchase 10 acres of land near the South Haven Station suitable for blueberry research work at a cost of $150 per acre plus cost of surveying and transfer. Univ. to have:^ immediate possession of; KLeis house Some years ago, the University purchased a farm from R. J. KLeis with the understanding that Mr. KLeis had the use of the faim home until September 1, i960. The KLeises have moved away and have tentatively rented the farm house for the balance of the period that they are entitled to occupancy. An agreement has been developed with Mr. KLeis giving us immediate possession for a payment of $2,000 which is substantially less than Mr. KLeis could have rented the house for the 3~y^a^ period. Davidson in Poultry Husbandry to evaluate Ethocel as a plastic dip coating for preservation of frozen poultry.
