M. Present, President Snyaer, Messrs. Graham, Wallace, ponerty and Watertury, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. On motion of Mr. Doherty, the question of the removal of a clump of ever- • green trees in front of the -agri cultural "building, was referred to Prof. Eustace and President Snyder with power to act. On motion of Mr. Graham, the salaries of C. S. Eo"binson, Chas. w. Brown, and P. A. Spragg were made $1350.00 each beginning September 1st. On motion of Mr. Wallace, the salary of Mr. E. G. Fischer,, instructor in English; was made #1000.00 beginning September 1st, and Mr. Chas. W. Chapman v/as appointed Assistant Professor• of • Physics and Electrical Engineering at a salary of $1300.00 per annum. . . .. On motion of Mr. Waterljury, Prof. "Pettit was authorized to maie a t r ip to Hew England to study the Gypsy and "brown-tailed moths and methods of destroying them. On motion of Mr. Dohe'rty, Mr. Myers was allov/ed not to exceed #50.00 r a i l- road expenses while 'visiting various institutions to study their methods r e- lating to his worJr. • .
