At Local Field Day Saturday Haskins won the 100 yards dash in to and 4-5 seconds, Mulheron won the running broad jump at 19 feet 1 inch, Burnett second; Burnett won the standing broad jump, record 10 feet 3 inches; Allen won the pole vault, breaking the inter­ collegiate field day record by going 8 feet 8 inches, Poss second; Reynolds won the mile bicycle race, time 3.41; Patrick won the 12 mile walking race; Besse won the mile run time 5.41. It is thought that Mulheron will get the medal but it has not decided yet. Ex-President Willets will be at the College to-night. He will stay at Hotel Kedzie. Col. Hyell inspected the Military depart­ ment to-day. Our Republican Club is a strong and vigor­ ous association.
