This archive, an ongoing cooperative project of the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association (MiGCSA) and Michigan State University Libraries, features public access to A Patch of Green from 1971-2003, as well as its predecessors, The Golf Course Expert and The Birdie, from 1962 and 1968.

A Patch of Green was published by the Greater Detroit Golf Course Superintendents Association (formerly the Michigan and Border Cities Golf Course Superintendents Association) before its merger into the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association.
