Editorial Note
With his re-Iocation to CODESRIA, Francis Nyamnjoh has come to the end of his
term as Editor of PULA. In my capacity as the new Editor, I wish to thank him for his
effort and dedication to making PULA ajoumal of high quality and excellence in
African studies.
I also take this opportunity to thank Divine Fuh who has been typesetting successive
PULA volumes recently. My gratitude also goes to Tapologo Maundeni and Godisang
Mookodi, the guest Editors of this volume. The calibre of their scholarship shines through
the volume, thereby confIrming the international stature of the journal.
