Turfgrass Producers International Collection

The Turfgrass Producers International Collection contains a variety of materials published by Turfgrass Producers International (TPI), formerly the American Sod Producers Association (ASPA), and the Lawn Institute, formerly the Better Lawn & Turf Institute.

The American Sod Producers Association was formed in 1967 by a group of U.S. turfgrass sod farmers. In 1994, ASPA changed its name to Turfgrass Producers International to better reflect its growing worldwide membership. The Better Lawn & Turf Institute, originally founded in 1957 as a turfgrass advocacy and consumer interest group, merged with Turfgrass Producers International in 1998.

The collection is part of the MSU Libraries' Turfgrass Information Center Resource Archive. Records for all turf-related articles within this archive can also be identified via the Turfgrass Information File (TGIF) database.
