  Elizabeth and a former member of the TRC's research department.
* John Daniel is professor of Political Science in the School of Governance
  at the University of Durban-Westville and a former member of the
  TRC's research department.
* Stephen Ellis is a senior researcher in the African Studies Institute of the
  University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
* Verne Harris is a senior archivist in the National Archives of South
  Africa in Pretoria.
* Human Rights Watch is an international human rights NGO based in
  New York. Peter Takirambudde is the executive director of its Africa
  Division.
* Mark Sanders is an assistant professor of English and American
  Literature at Brandeis University in the United States.
