U.S. President Barack Obama urges Congress to pass the extension of funding for FAA and surface transportation
President Barack Obama says it would be inexcusable for Congress to refuse to pass the surface transportation and FAA extensions which will keep Americans working. Obama reminds listeners that renewing these pieces of legislation was once routine saying, "the transportation bill has been renewed seven times in the past two years." He says extensions are supported by groups as diverse as the Chamber of Commerce and the AFL-CIO.
