Michigan State University Professor of English Gordon Henry reads at the second Poetry Center Reading sponsored by the MSU Residential College in the Arts and Humanities. Henry begins by reading a chapter from his work "Seminal futures", portions of which have been published in a number of journals. He also reads his prose and poetry from "A profile of a Black River member", "Directions from the sovereign of entelechy", "Saxophonist meta-Americana tour for Joy H.", and "The failure of certain charms: and other disparate signs of life." Director of the Poetry Center, Anita Skeen, introduces the session and English Professor Marcia Aldridge introduces Henry.
