Changing the world one song at a time : songs of work and struggle
Folk-blues performers Sparky and Rhonda Rucker deliver a talk entitled, "Changing the world one song at a time: songs of work and struggle". The Ruckers intersperse old time American folk songs with their descriptions of slavery and workers' struggles. The Ruckers are introduced by Michigan State University Professor John P. Beck. Co-sponsored by the "Our Daily Work/Our Daily Lives" Brown Bag series from the MSU School of Human Resources and Labor Relations and the MSU Libraries' Colloquia Series. Held at the MSU Main Library.
