U.S. President Barack Obama holds a press conference at the White House
President Obama holds a press conference in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House. Obama answers questions about Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons, Benghazi, the Boston Marathon Bombing and prosecutions, his ability to move Congress, the budget sequester, a hunger strike at the Guantanamo prison, implementation of the Affordable Care Act, immigration reform and border security. Obama returns to the lectern to comment on the announcement by NBA player Jason Collins that he is gay, making him the first professional athlete to come out while being an active player.
