President Obama speaks at an event marking the 60th anniversary of the signing of the armistice ending the Korean War July 27, 1953. Obama recounts the singing of the armistice, the end of hostilities and what returning home was like for the veterans. He declares "victory" in what has been called the "forgotten war." Obama thanks those who served saying, "in the spring of your youth you learned how short and precious life can be.
