U.S. President Barack Obama warns about the imminent shutdown of the federal government
President Obama says that if Congress does not fulfill its responsibility to pass a budget today, much of the United States government will be forced to shut down tomorrow. He says his hope and expectation is that Congress, especially the House of Representatives, will "do the right thing." Held in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House.
