President Barack Obama announces an agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran which addresses concerns with Iran's nuclear program. Obama calls agreement "an important first step" toward a comprehensive solution which halts the development of nuclear weapons by Iran and provides for inspections to assure compliance. He says the agreement has been achieved together with close allies and partners including China and Russia.
