Michigan State University sophomore Rick Ekins talks about his upbringing, dorm life, and future plan
Michigan State University sophomore Rick Ekins, who is majoring in Agriculture and Natural Resources Communications, talks about growing up on a farm in Rives Junction, MI, attending high school in Leslie, MI, and the differences between small town life and living at MSU. Ekins describes living in the dorm and relationships with room mates and says that some students misbehave when they are away from home and that the university does not enforce anti-drug and anti-drinking rules well enough. He also says that he chose his major because he believes it is broad and versatile and will give him many job options and that in ten years he hopes to be working for an agricultural corporation and be married and starting a family.
