President Obama speaks on manufacturing innovation in the US economy. Taking up initiatives outlined in his State of the Union address, Obama announces two new public-private manufacturing innovation institutes--one in Chicago and one in the Detroit area--as well as a competition for the first of four additional institutes that Obama claims will put America at the forefront of 21st Century manufacturing.
