Henry Connaught encourages Kalamazoo residents to participate in the 1949 Opportunity Savings Bond drive
Chairman of the Kalamazoo County Bond Drive Committee County and Vice-President of American National Bank Henry Connaught delivers a speech encouraging the residents to participate in the 1949 Opportunity Savings Bond drive. Connaught argues that participating in the bond drive is participating in American free enterprise and will bring stability and security not just to the American economy, but also to the finances of the citizens purchasing the bonds. Kalamazoo Mayor Henry Ford Jr. also promotes bond purchase and both speakers are introduced by Dr. Willis Dunbar of WKZO.
