James De Monte, professor of English at Lakeland Community College, delivers a talk entitled "Brotherhood: Fiction and the Communion of Labor." De Monte reads excerpts from his book, "Brotherhood", a novella inspired by his own time doing manual labor and answers questions from the audience about the experiences that shape his writings. De Monte is introduced by John Beck, professor of Human Resources and Labor Relations.
