U.S. President Barack Obama talks about the results of the 2016 election
United States President Barack Obama makes a statement about the results of the 2016 election. Obama promises a smooth transition to a Trump administration in January and announces that President-elect Trump will visit the White House on Thursday, November 10th. He also says he has spoken to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and that he is proud of her and her historic run for the White House. Obama declares that "we are Americans first" and that all Americans need to have respect for the country's institutions, the rule of law and for each other. Held at the White House.
