U.S. President George W. Bush holds a press conference on a variety of domestic and international issues
President George W. Bush gives a press conference highlighting on the recent nuclear agreement with North Korea, the 2008 presidential race, and working with the new Democratic Congress on issues such as balancing the federal budget, immigration, and energy. President Bush says he is certain the Iranian government is supplying deadly weapons used by fighters in Iraq against U.S. troops, even if he can't prove the the orders came from top Iranian leaders. Russian President, Vladimir Putin, the previous weekend had criticized U.S. domination of world affairs at an international conference of security officials in Germany. On the surprising slam, Bush says he has a "complicated relationship" with the Russian leader, yet he also acknowledges that they both agree that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons.
